Presumably the Metromap browser will have similar functionality to Nearmap’s, so if pricing is cheaper, then it could well eat into Nea’s market share in Australia. Is there room for two subscription providers plus Google Maps - don’t know yet, but can’t blame AMX for giving it a go.
