I don't agree with analysis always linking end of lockdown to less revenue for supermarkets.
Christmas is approaching and there's a lot of pent up gatherings and parties to be had...parties require shopping and liquor supplies.
Also more people in westfields doing regular christmas shopping means more likely they will drop in at a supermarket.
If anyone is buying coles for the ultimate long-term 10-20 years, I would bank on some mass immigration policies coming to boost the economy post-covid.
I think I've just convinced myself to buy more coles... I hope it's down tomorrow I will buy some more.
