From memory, the highest price at which Invion's predecessor CBio actually raised capital was through a rights issue at $3 a share, many years ago before the GFC while it was unlisted. The Board at that time did announce another rights issue at $6, but after receiving advice that this was well and truly over the top, they returned what little money had come in to the applicants. However, I understand that some early investors paid up to $6 through an unofficial secondary market to buy shares from other shareholders before the company was listed on the ASX. Again, all these transactions were before the GFC.
