In my opinion I believe there is a bot who sees low volume on SXY and continually manipulates the sp while volume is sporadic.
SXY management need to court a broader group of analysts (if possible) to ensure volume increases. It’s so sad to see such a brilliant positioned company being manipulated by computer trading bots who are clueless to the true value of SXY and will continue to do so until the daily volume picks up. All it would need is a superfund (once we’re back in the ASX200) to recognize the value of SXY and we’d be over $1.00 per share. Either way it’s coming once gas revenues are hitting our bottom line.
I’m also concerned that with the upcoming election, a labour government is also a fear factor for big biz and especially for the energy sector. Labour’s policy is an unknown and is clearly the wild card that could drive the ASX down in the same way as the democrats in the US could socialise the economy and kill capitalism.
We in Australia have such a wealth of natural resources but sadly the greens have planted fear into the minds of the dim witted to believe that fracking is an environmental risk. How sad!!
