well as usual this forum is very quiet, understandable really as ALD have been very quiet in terms of updates and the like.
So the Annual Rept came out and very pretty it was too. Just like the provisional A.R. but with lots of glossy photos. It was probably a bit much to expect a page with a big Monty Python hand on it with "this is where it all went wrong" written above it, but it would have been useful.
Apart from the A.R. and a stream of 3Bs, things have been very quiet on the announcement front, you would expect an production update by the end of the month. I was surprised that there was no real attempt to update the market when the Annual finally came out.
So with the POG holding at mostly better than US1600, I want to see expenses under US1000 and 40000 ounces across the 2 mines. After all other expenses ALD should be close to 20 million better off, either in cash or gold holdings, than 3 months ago.
If not, it'll be interesting to see why not this time.
