Trading Tip - Drill result announcements seems daunting at first, but there are only a few key pieces of information that you need to look at. Drill grades - What is considered low/med/high for a particular mineral? 5g/t? 1500ppm? 30mg/L? Drill depth - How shallow is the resource? Open pit mines for <80m intercepts and far more economical than other methods of recovery. Drill width - Just how wide is the intersect? From: 122m, To: 126m is a 4m width. Is this considered thick for your resource? It's important to note that over time you'll get an appreciation of learning to combine all three data point to determine what a good resource is. This is an essential piece of FA that you should learn to minimize getting trapped in the mining announcements.
E.g. A shallow 5m gold strike at 2g/t with 80m depth is significantly better than a 150m gold strike @ 30g/t with 2m depth. It's not just about the grades
