Yep, media has a lot to blame for this time round... I am in freight forwarding (so logistics), China loadings have been back to normal for about 2 and a half weeks.
Also Italy exporting as usual...
People have to remember most (not all) seafreight shipments are on the water more than 14 days... so the vessel is essentially self quarantined by the time it arrives in Australia.
This applies to most other ports, with some SEA (South East Asia) exceptions... i.e all the common trade routes are 14 days plus, and the ones that are not are close to 14 days, so worst case (as it is happening in India at the moment) vessels berth offshore for the difference of 14 days.
i.e Singapore to Mundra (India) is a 9 day transit, so vessel sits offshore for 5 days then is allowed to berth.
