its the start of a new week and the spec sector has come to the party already with some interesting news events and a new high in the S & P. Of note in the spec sector was Fridays sell down in AVZ by KE subholder, then results today on the final hole. (i thought this was illegal!!!)
On the S & P, the interest to me was the resurgence in the tech and IT sector, which could be a lovely way to roll into the next few months with tech getting renewed vigour.
The S&P 500 information technology sector in the US rose 0.3 per cent, powered by an Nvidia-led surge in chipmakers, while Apple rose one per cent in its first gain since unveiling the new iPhones.
