Newscorp has had excellent core business growth in revenue and profit over the last 12 months ,particularly the last 2 quarters.
Write downs of assets though belted the profit line and has seen the stock tumble.
One such asset is gemstar that if you agree with this report may offer some surprise on the upside on the balance sheet if the written down value actually gets re rated .
