"Comfortably Numb" was a line out a famous Pink Floyd song that I find myself reflecting on at the minute, as a way of explaining politics in the US and Australia and its effect on markets generally. It seems with Trump, any policy statements are just headlines, and really mean very little when it comes to any actual legislation. And in Aus, we have our ex deputy Prime minister talking out loud about the paternity of his partners/his child, not knowing whether its his or not but saying he will raise the child anyway, regardless. Like its any of our business, and that it has something to do with running the country.
They,ve all lost me, and plenty others I imagine.
How could they become any more divorced from the good of their fellow people??
