a mild but wet day in melbourne, no wind which is good and the rain is certainly very welcome but many would have wished it not to arrive on Melbourne Cup day. Then again, lets see if the fashion gurus use their nous and break tradition with those ridiculous stilettos, and get women into fashion that actually responds to the climate. leather boots are a hot fashion accessory imo.
