RMP etc, The real problem is that punters want to believe, and spin merchants know how to craft these announcements accordingly.
In the phrase: "multiple potential pay zones identified...." nobody seemed to notice the word "potential".
That's code for 'we have fully disclosed that we are unsure whether we have a commercial discovery at this stage, and if we don't have one, then we have still not misled punters.'
