It's January 30 in the year 2017.

Last time we spoke, I was saying merry Xmas and have a nice holiday! I have a couple of swims, not many surfs, ate quite a bit of food and drank the odd dozen bottles of wine and here I am saying January is over and it's time to get serious. Sometimes, I wish we could stop this world for a while and all get off, like used to happen as a kid when summer holidays at the beach went on for years and years, no one ever went home and the surf and sun just kept rolling on! ... ok, where was I.
