    So yesterday the ratings agency's downgraded all Australia's banks EXCEPT the big 4... I suspect the banks put the ratings agencies up to that to equal out the levy imposed in the budget - pathetic and anything to ensure they keep a lid on fair competition.

    IMO

    Oh, that's why the financials are down so much today but the big 4 relatively unscathed. So it is trade related, not entirely a political spiel.
