There is some excitement out there today in the spec space with the latest market darlings getting some serious exposure over the weekend news rounds and yes, even here on Hotcopper. We have gold still bubbling away, copper maybe setting up to see a bottom on the index over coming weeks and coal just punching up with a chart that has to be seen to be believed. The AFR are reporting an expected 6 month re-rate run for the coal industry which has many punters quite perplexed as the new normal had been accepted that coal was finished. Reflected on the confused sentiment, one Hotcopper commentator called Trees said: (and i quote)

'Coal bah humbug trade the trade "
