Morning Traders,
The ASX have put out a notice this morning saying they will be opening up today!
I think this is great for us. It will allow Australian investors to get access to the $ billions of dollars worth of
companies that they own. (sorry for being facetious but can you imagine if world markets were tumbling and had been down by 3% or more yesterday? ) We got off lightly this time, assuming we open for trade today, but this is in reality a huge wake up call to anyone who gets complacent with technology ruling their life. It does fail, and it will fail in the future.
On a lighter note, its a beautiful spring day in Melbourne as we prepare for the AFL finals, with the frighteningly real prospect with four teams left, that the final could well be made up of two teams from Sydney!
What a highjack that would be!
