Morning Traders Tuesday 30th August

Morning Traders and Wonka fans,

what a great legacy will be left for people everywhere following the passing of Gene Wilder who for me will be remembered as that crazy blue eyed character called Willy Wonka who ran an extraordinary chocolate factory, filled with amazement and fantasy and color that I and most other children at that time had simply never seen before.

And then to go full circle some thirty years later, and to realise that this actor and film had the same effect of wonderment and delight on my young children was just an incredible thing to experience.

He died to Ella Fitzgerald s 'Somewhere over the rainbow' playing very loudly .
The power of human nature and film culture immortalised. So RIP Willy Wonka.
