When folks are discussing their home renovations on the trading thread, you know things have got pretty quiet. The thing is that this business at the glamorous end can spin on a dime, so you have to keep your focus and be ready for the intensity to kick up a notch. Its actually the perfect time to be doing research into new opportunities and trends that are developing. I know zinc seems to be continuing its uptrend, copper looks to have tentatively bottomed and could be the next metal to run, nickel was up 4% yesterday, tech is having a renaissance which is just getting started after having been absolutely caned after the resources revival (traders have a low attention span) and so it goes on.
Keeping yourself informed is what will make us all valuable contributors on HC, without the knowledge, we are just following the car ahead and we will either get booked for tailgating or just smash right into it! . (well , you know what i mean! )
