Sophs (708's) are income for at least 2 years over $250k OR assets over $2.5m
I personally think they are a waste of time. I took a number of placements years ago only to see the SP smacked down to lower than placement. Sure, if you pick the right stock that goes north but may as well do that without tying up capital for extended periods. Just IMO of course.
