Looking at the company announcements for BDI and notice Kennedy and Simich have resigned and been replaced by "GEM" men. Given that Simich has only just been reelected I think this spells the end of BDI.
I fear history is about to repeat itself and this explains the dormant SP for BDI (and it all legal apparently!)
