I have no idea which way the markets will go . . but . . . if there is a plunge. What happens a lot is that peeps sell their 'good' stocks to cover losses and hang on to their dogs cos they think they can't get much worse. So you often get a contradictory signal that certain stocks are doing well. But don't be fooled. Doesn't take long for everything to get slammed.
