One of the firm’s favorite investment mantras during such periods is “know what you own and why you own it relative to your investment goals, objectives and tolerance to risk and right size your expectations.” The advice is especially beneficial during periods where markets are adjusting to a new normal, according to the note. —Carmen Reinicke
