Get a dedicated left hand mouse and you can run both left and right handed at the same time. Allows for alternatively resting at will. I have done because of my old shoulder. Good therapy for everyone. Don't think left/right buttons, think inside/outside. Takes about 30 minutes if your reasonably hand proficient to come up to speed. Good brain training. It also comes in handy to type and operate the mouse whilst switching between them. Useful if you're operating other things like phone, printer etc.,
