Tech wreck was onite. Stocks like Packer's E-Power or whatever were coupla bucks then next day you couldn't sell them. Sausage Software etc went $2 to 2c and no buyers. Most of those stocks never re-appeared.
Peeps were still keen but was different back then. We didn't look at charts and there was no experience in the market except for peeps from the olden days. No-one was saying buy the dip.
No real recovery for traders until after the GFC ten years later!
Very hard to make comparisons with today altho over-priced stocks with no earnings are always at risk.
