It seems that the mid large caps come out with announcements like 'dividends slashed' / 'profit cut' blah blah and then shoot 3-10% on open ..it is like the market is relieved to hear the news and can now price more effectively? Today CSR and PMV ...hmm.
Following this buy CBA as it reports tomorrow with slashed profits may or may not keep dividend ..likely shoots 5% on open?
