Not sometimes, most of the times.

I started paper trading the most prolific posters on these threads a while back. You could draw direct correlation between when a stock was mentioned and when it was sold off over half of the time.

The other 45% of the time it did nothing or moved slightly up

5% or less it was a rocket...

That is a VERy generous 5% though
