IOU. haha. Nearly every anncmnt about speccy stocks is fishy. They are there to promote the stock in any way possible to try and support the SP. It's a bit of an art to interpret how the market will receive them.
The news has to able to overcome non holders reticence to buy and LT holders desire to take profits. Espc if they have been getting whacked for a while.
You look at the chart and try to decide which way the punters will jump. Try and put your head in the mind of the avg punter reading the anncmnt.
For me the IOU anncmnt doesn't jump out as obviously a winner. Convoluted deal with a private Islamic non-bank entity for indefinite cost structure for what purpose?
You won't always be right but at least you can see where the logical support and resistance levels will be.
Trading is not an exact science but a risk assessment exercise. imo
