Quats are known to hang around on surfaces after application. It probably depends what they are mixed with though & how often those surfaces are touched. AEI claims to be 200 touch resistant for example. Zoono claims "up to" 30 days on a surface, but probably hasn't been abrasion tested hence no claim as such.
