Rebel you are wrong- take 1000 shares @ 30c $300 equivalent options @15 c $150 plus $150 to convert is $300 . Called arbitrage so when the oppies are within 15c of the share's then the shares are the better deal and when the oppies are more than 15c under the shares then purchase of oppies is the better deal .
Take 1000 shares @ 50c - $500 . Equivalent options @ 30 c - $300 + $150 conversion - $450 . Better off by $50 to buy the options
