Full respect to the proper Christians who believe in and live the true values. If a layman atheist (who did go to Sunday school) can summarize the take homes for mine are blessed are the meek:
" Woe to you who are rich, for you have already received your comfort." When a rich young man came to Jesus and asked what thing he must do to receive eternal life, Jesus told him that he must sell his possessions and give to the poor"
I have seen this in family and some communities and believe it to be the strongest message/advice ever given to a society that wants to endure. Unfortunately there are now many derivations and interpretations of Christianity, the majority of which have strayed far from that path. IMO our PM and evangelicalism falls far more into the exploitative interpretations of the word. I for one will deride that and all that follow it. Certainly has no place in our parliament.
