Climate extremists want to ignore the obvious things. People like Laura Tingle write corrupted delusional articles ignoring the obvious things. Fire inquiry after fire inquiry has highlighted real issues to be addressed - land management practices, building standards, fire prevention strategies including land clearing and reducing fuel load. Extremists grasp at natural weather events and associated disasters and try to apply a human fingerprint. The IPCC advises no link between CO2 emissions and drought. Nothing to do with anthropogenic global warming. Observations globally show that wildfires have reduced by 24% since 1998. Extreme weather events have declined since the 1950's. Kelly MJ (2016) Trends in Extreme Weather Events since 1900 – An Enduring Conundrum for Wise Policy Advice. J Geogr Nat Disast6: 155. Extremists have an agenda and ignore the obvious things that are supported by robust scientific evidence, empirical data and verified observations. Even the BOM data looks corrupted because it indicates Australia is now warming at an increased rate above the 41 CIMP5 models which are known to be over-sensitive to warming (tropical predictions versus observations). Australia warming? Global warming? Natural variability? Extremists ignore improved living standards, prosperity, sustainable agriculture built over 50 years. Extremists prefer to rely on rhetoric and new definitions of industrial disease.
