Federal government stepping in and having ADF coordinate operations is definotely the right thing to do.

The other initiatives regarding remuneration of reservists and legislation to protect their current employment is also good.

The strong statement of reassurance towards end that "we will rebuild" and that government will be central to this process, also comforting im sure for those affected

given the enormity of this disaster and its ever changing nature, together with all the negative highly politicised media coverage directly aimed at Morrison, he has done extraordinarily well to keep a calm head, focused on what needs to be done and most importantly focus on what the community needs.....resources on the ground and assurance that "we will get thru this" and rebuild.
