"The Prime Minister has used the Liberal Party's campaign launch to announce a plan to allow first home buyers to use their superannuation to purchase a property......

"Mr Morrison went on to announce the Super Home Buyer scheme, which — if the Coalition is re-elected on Saturday — would enable first home buyers to use up to 40 per cent of their super, up to $50,000, to put towards buying a home."

Why does Morrison want superannuation stripped of its purpose?

Superannuation may not be the perfect instrument to suit the Lib agenda, but if left alone with routine payments and voluntary payments into the account, superannuation will achieve its designed purpose - retirement plan which eases the burden on future Govs for aged pension and lifts the viability of retirement from drudgery on the pension to meaningful retirement planning.

But then Morrison gets up on his campaign launch to proclaim boldly (sans criticism) to undermine retirement savings.

this is a repeat offence by Morrison on the ageing population and places a massive time bomb for future Govs.

now I'm sure that Morrison doesn't give a damn for future retirement plans or the prospects of Govs in 30-40 years time being able to manage the pension arrangements of millions (yes, MILLIONS) of Aussies.

lets face this truth more clearly: Morrison only cares for his re-election, now. No concern whatever for anything that might come after 2025. even his own electoral chances in 2025. Morrison is nothing less than a self-interested fool and any voting for him are merely credulous suckers for sophist rhetoric.
