Frydenburg has just announced that digital platforms like Google and FaceBook using Australian news content from media organisations like News Corp and Fairfax will be fined up to $10 million for every breach of new regulations and the 'Code of Conduct' being imposed on them.
Whereas the likes of Google and FaceBook will have to pay a 'fair price' for using material from News Corp publications they will not have to pay a brass razoo to Australian taxpayers when they use ABC news reports.
