What one has to be careful of - naturally, is the Aboriginal Groups are now making political statements of their own, equally without factual backup. Aboriginal people are not fools - just, most often, uneducated. Once they realise how the "political game" works, they are as capable of bending the truth as any white politician.
Being part Aboriginal, (by bloodlines) I have first hand experience of their twisting of words too. It appears as if they wish me to deny the Scots part of my heritage, that, of which, I am as proud of as my Aboriginal side. I guess that they wish to use my grasp of language, and my equal, if not better speaking ability, to their own advantage. We will see abut that in the future. I am a moderate, I believe in reconciliation, rather than confrontation. As Sun Tzu said. "A prolonged war is ruinous to both sides."
