I understand what you’re saying via risks, and agree but it’s a decision that is very personal. I lie in the camp of not taking medication unless it’s an absolute last resort. I don’t take tablets for a headache or use cold and flu meds and even refused pain meds when having invasive dental surgery . If the body can heal naturally I will always choose that option.
I think the statistics never tell the full truth neither I have engaged in some very statistically more dangerous activities than getting the AZ jab, but I could enact a level of risk mitigation by my own actions , there is no way I can do that with a vaccine. I also had a greater understanding of the risks I was taking as the risks and consequences of death or injury were well documented over many decades. Most of the time it was human error that put people at risk and the statistics didn’t take that into account.
