Cook was an explorer. His travels can be compared to the astronauts landing on the moon. His intentions were never to harm, but were to discover and explore.

Would you have preferred if there were never any travels on this planet and that the human race never advanced! We would all just be isolated in our own cities and towns forever in time! Stop all the scientific research now!
