Shorten wont get people into debt. True socialists don't want you to OWN anything. To get into debt you usually need to borrow to buy an asset. He wants you in public housing and your kids in child minding centres before going to a public school for early indoctrination into socialist thinking. He will punish non union workers and the self employed. That is the socialist (read communist) way. He wont want you to OWN anything.
