Does not a company need to put in place a trading halt where a price sensitive announcement is about to be released? The suspension would prevent confidential information leaking before it is released to the market. The payment, or not, of $30m is price sensitive.
If the Court is going to make a determination about the interest on 13 June, then those listening to the judge that day and/or hearing his determination will find out before the market. A trading halt makes sense. It is possible that media will report on it before Shine get a chance to announce to the market.
