Situation in Singapore
To date, a total of 160 people infected with the novel coronavirus in Singapore have recovered. This makes it around more than a fifth of total infections as of that date. In the past week, Singapore’s new cases of COVID-19 were increasing. Most of the new cases were imported from people who had been overseas, compared to cases of local transmissions. As a result, Singapore expanded travel restrictions to and from more countries, including Germany, Italy, Spain, and France, to prevent further imported cases.
