The difference goldie,and it's a pity you need to have this explained to you, is that WE, the Australian people are responsible for what happens in our detention camps. We're NOT responsible for what happens in Somalia. We have no control there. What happens here is done in OUR name. As a democratic country, what happens here is, presumably the will of the people...some people but, increasingly, where asylum seekers are concerned some are waking up to the cruelty of what is being done in our name.

THAT's the difference.
