He didn't "run off"
His family holiday was booked well in advance.
The States were supposed to be managing the fires.
When he left for Hawaii the hell hadn't broken loose then.
He cut short his holiday and returned to a hateful public stirred up by no less than our ABC.
You see the ABC have still not got over Turnbull no longer being their protector.
