That won't happen, because people always gravitate to unions, in this case political unions conveniently named "Parties". By nature people are tribal and they will deny even good if it doesn't fit the scriptures of the mob.
Ambivalence is sometimes the best remedy for conflict of loyalty. It doesn't require a decision.
