In a repeat of what followed the closure of Parliament late in 2020, Morrison is again ruling by Executive Decree.
With new daily Covid case numbers in NSW headed the way of the entire UK, Victoria following suit and even Qld and SA looking the Covid medusa in the face, from his summit on the mount Morrison has decreed that henceforth:
1. The federal government will no longer fulfill its constitutional responsibility to properly fund Medicare - Aussie Battlers must now pay for RATs. 2. Where possible, RATs will replace PCR tests. 3. State governments must now accept greater responsibility for Covid testing and for RAT supplies / distribution. 4. Australians will no longer be counted as a CLOSE CONTACT unless they live with an infected person and exposed to them for more than four hours. 5. People can go to work or to public places except hospitals unless they have Covid or are a 'close contact'. 6. People are NOT entitled to a PCR test unless they have Covid symptoms. 7. The definition of 'hospitalisations' will be changed so that the numbers listed with Covid are dramatically reduced - if someone is admitted to hospital with Covid but with another issue as well they will not be counted as a Covid admission.
This is just part of the absolute bluddy mess Morrison and his incredibly stupid Muppets have made of fulfilling the federal government's constitutional responsibilities for public health.
