Cmon mate. It is clearly a sneaky way of the feds trying to undermine the states border control policy. Trying to pull on the heart strings of the public and put pressure on state Premiers.
That woman's story is very sad. However, have a think about how many people around Australia that are in a similar position ? There would be hundreds or thousands of people that have equally strong cases and yet we hear nothing about them.
Politicians should not comment let alone personally donate money to them and then publicize it.
