@redzanti; you can't expect people who claim to be Australians while living anywhere except Australia and those who never venture outside capital cities to be aware that the most recent rainfalls in Eastern Australia have been limited to Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and coastal areas.

It's certainly great to see some relief for those areas impacted by bushfires, those affected deserve a break!

But happy-clapping while NE Victoria and Gippsland burn unabated due to the total lack of rain while high temperatures and enduring drought persist smacks of insensitive self-indulgent hubris. When it comes to doing the right thing by bushfire victims Scott Morrison's generosity with taxpayers' money is tighter and very much less active than a fishes rear end.
