I couldn't get over how quickly he moved over the staffer's behaviour ( and their chat group ffs !!!! ) and moved on to historical treatment of women in Australia.
He carried on as if he has just landed on earth and is observing what everyone else has been doing and that he wasn't a participant !
Then he get's all emotional about his family. What a show !
An absolute crock.
He should have simplified the whole thing by saying that anyone caught performing lewd acts in Parliament house should be sacked on the spot.
He should just come out with a hard , tough policy if he is serious. One that gives the voters confidence that he means business. One that gives women confidence that he is action, not talk.
Instead he deflected and put on a pathetic, sooky display.
And then he got all personal with a journalist about workplace issues.
