I Actually agree with you that the system is far more complicated than it need be. But none of the changes make the system more simple, nor do they reduce the need for a broker that can help navigate the complexities of getting a loan. If they proposed substantive systemic changes which increase consumer awareness and reduce the need for a broker I honestly wouldn't complain. That's educational awareness for consumers, I see no problem with that at all.
