The thing I like about BP is that they are not solely concerned with real estate
investing. They will advance money to whoever meets their risk criteria; this
of course usually involves real assets. Mostly in the form of virgin real property which
is available for subdivision. The loan being used for the development of the land up to the subdivision sale point.

I do qualify for Sophisticated Investor status but I've never used it for mortgage debt investments.
BM also have a great interest rate on cash held which is an additional plus when you're waiting for investments.
