Then it's even more amazing that they parked their car outside, went inside fully armed in combat gear, spent 20min unopposed killing and burning before leaving in that car still waiting for them, drove 500km and almost escaped Russia.
It doesn't make sense and defies logic. The only thing that makes sense is that it was allowed to happen as a means to an end and that makes all the official mourning beneath contempt.
Much the same as Hamas invading Israel and Osama bin Laden destroying the twin towers etc. All of them had massive delays in response and looked like promoted home goals in retrospect, to garnish support for the main game.
